Julianne Wade’s work is inspired by the beauty of the landscape - most recently the colors, textures, and moods of the desert around her home. Julianne works as a painter and independent art teacher, offering art instruction to artists of all ages. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums across the country. Julianne holds an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and was part of the school’s Low Residency program at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She misses painting oceanside, but has come to love Arizona’s panoramic sunrises & sunsets.

Marissa Martin’s love of flora and fauna shines through in her meticulous and vibrant paintings. Before settling in Scottsdale, Marissa lived on a tropical island in Japan and loves to draw from her world travels and experiences abroad for inspiration in her art. Marissa studied Health Science at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is an experienced nonprofit professional and recent RISE fellowship graduate whose areas of interest include social justice, health equity, and animal rights advocacy. As a proud cat lady, Marissa paints pet portraits that capture perfectly the essence of each of her subjects.
